  • Chapter
Campaigning for “Education for All”

Abstract

This chapter analyses the history, development, context, strategies, actions and impact of the Ghana National Education Campaign Coalition (GNECC). GNECC functions as a civil society coalition, institutionalized in 1999 to advocate for the achievement of universal quality and enjoyable basic education for all in Ghana. It is one of the first national coalitions of the Global Campaign for Education (GCE) and it has played an active role in conferences and workshops from the GCE and the African Network Coalition for Education for All (ANCEFA).
