Abstract
This chapter outlines a representation of Pedagogical Content Knowledge (PCK) for the topic of Genetics. As was the case of Chapter Five (Chemical Reactions) and Chapter Seven (Force), for this topic we again offer two CoRes as opposed to a single CoRe. However, in Chapter Five, the two CoRes represented different teachers’ framing of the content whereas in this chapter, similar to that of Chapter Seven, the two CoRes were generated by the same teachers and represent different aspects of teaching this topic, viz. teaching about genetics at a micro and macro level. Hence, the format for this chapter is similar to that of Force as it includes a first CoRe (Part One: Micro) followed by a second CoRe (Part Two: Macro).
