Abstract

This chapter outlines a representation of Pedagogical Content Knowledge (PCK) for the topic Particle Theory. This is the first chapter offered to illustrate how the ideas of a CoRe and PaP-eRs fit together to form that which we describe as a Resource Folio. This Resource Folio Chapter (Particle Theory) has purposely been selected as the first to be offered in the book as the layout follows the standard design, of a CoRe followed by the PaP-eRs that are associated with particular elements of that CoRe, as explained in the previous chapter. (Although based on this standard layout, not all chapters fully adhere to it, as some Resource Folios have two CoRes and/or layered and sequential PaP-eRs.)
