Abstract
In this chapter we return to Eastgates Primary School to meet with the teachers’ gratitude group for the final time that year. We explore how practising gratitude as a group had expanded their notion of gratitude and their sense of community. Our discussion leads on to how this might result in reciprocity from the community and wider society. I bring the themes of the book together as we postulate a way forward where acts of gratitude can move us to actively consider education as a ‘gift’.
