Abstract
I have been a student of Buddha most of my adult life—for over 30 years now. And it does not look like I will graduate from this course of study. No degree, no certificate. Not only that, I am not even sure if I will ever achieve the goal of this study: enlightenment. In fact, if I understand the Buddha’s teachings correctly, enlightenment is not something one can achieve by effort as this very striving and achieving drive will guarantee failure. Paradox abounds.
