Abstract

This scene depicts the filming of a videotaped “escape scene” representing Eileen’s fantasy – reality and fantasy coming together. Sequentially it occurs some time in the near future, after the events of the play. Eileen is acting in the scene with Randy and Wesley. They have presumably created the scene together under Eileen’s direction as part of the Drama program, as part of the Performing Escape sequence. The scene has been rehearsed and is now being staged for videotaping. We see it acted out live on stage and simultaneously we see a video of it projected on screen. Stan is the camera person.
