Part of the book series: Pedagogy, Education and Praxis ((PEDA,volume 6))

Abstract

This book is a result of collaborative research carried out by participants in a community of practice (Wenger, McDermott & Snyder, 2002). Individuals and networks have contributed to research, education and local development through different kinds of participation. The work was supported by universities, Research and Development (R&D)-units and local school authorities. One outcome of the cooperative efforts is this edited volume.
