Part of the book series: Practice of Research Method ((PRM,volume 2))

Abstract

In this chapter I shift from looking at the reading, writing, and nonverbal composing processes of the previous section and explore one research method, protocol analysis, from a Vygotskian perspective. I make no claims that this method is the best method for conducting a Vygotskian analysis of literacy processes. It is, however, one that I’ve used frequently and thought about quite a bit.
