Abstract
I guess the drawback of being mixed race is only rarely feeling completely comfortable. Like it’s great to feel partially comfortable in so many different settings, but it’s a really narrow spot where I feel like absolutely, “I’m like you.” Maybe it’s with other mixed race people, or it’s with other children of immigrants, no matter what race or background.
