Abstract
For most teachers I know the idea of a Professional Development Day is exciting, a day without our students, a day to converse with other teachers in similar classrooms around the district or province, collecting valuable resources and strategies to incorporate into our classrooms. I always start looking at the workshops in advance, hoping that someday it will say something, anything, with “Late French Immersion” in the title, but to date, I have been sorely disappointed.
