Abstract
Aaron was an eighth grader the year I started working at Manhattan MiddleSchool. I became aware of him when he joined a computer programmingoriented elective that I was teaching that included 6th, 7th and 8th gradestudents. Aaron was thirteen and he had dark hair, pale skin, and an averagebuild for a boy his age. He wore black t-shirts, jeans and had braces. He wasinterested in computer hacking and security. Aaron seemed very bright andmotivated, he considered himself a “white hat” or good guy type of hacker.
