Abstract

Janice had a very particular weekend routine. Every Saturday she woke up bright and early to find her husband was already out. She invariably thought that he must be at the squash club; which was his weekend morning ritual. She hurried out of bed with great urgency to discover her family was nowhere to be found. (Kyle was either sleeping or out; she assumed he left early in the morning but never quite knew for sure if he had ever returned the night before). It never registered that surely they would be nowhere to be found, so she rather pondered to herself about where in the house they might possibly be.
