Abstract

A key aspect when considering the implications for classroom practice is the nature of the learning experience when mathematical phenomena were engaged through digital media.Coupled with this,is the consideration of ways learning pathways might differ in digital environments. What are the characteristics of the learning encounters and what affordances are particular to the environment? What are the opportunities or constraints for activity and interaction that arise when doing mathematics in digital pedagogical media? These affordances are revisited within the context of the ongoing research.
