Abstract
Using computer games in educational settings has gained much attention in recent years. Some studies show that ‘learning through play’ provides a successful education experience. In general, game playing consists of rules, goals, engagement, challenge, feedback, fun, interactive, outcome and immediate reward. Celia Pearce (2002) states that a game is a structured framework that consists of the following inherent characteristics.
