Abstract

This chapter will detail the methodology used in the present study. It will define qualitative methodology, describe its key characteristics, and provide the advantages of engaging in qualitative inquiry. It will then offer a rationale for choosing qualitative methodology to conduct the study. Next, it will describe the specific qualitative method employed, the Critical Incident Technique, providing a rationale for its use in particular. The chapter will proceed with a description of participants, followed by procedures, and will conclude with a description of the data analysis undertaken.
