A Critical Analysis of the Policy of Integrazione Scolastica

  • Chapter
Inclusive Education in Italy

Part of the book series: Studies in Inclusive Education ((STUIE,volume 10))

Abstract

This book is not intended to undermine or offset the significant work done in more than thirty years of integrazione scolastica nor to ignore what has been achieved - most notably, that no child is denied the right to education in his/her local school. Rather it seeks to provide an alternative way of critically analysing the policy of integrazione scolastica and its inclusive potential in Italy.
