    A round, oval, or lobulated mass in dark purple with a thin fibrous capsule.

    Actually, the venous malformation, rather than a true tumor, is made up of different vascular sinuses in size and shape. The section shows cavernous, porous in appearance and fiber separation among vascular cavities.
