Abstract

When describing new alleles at the S locus, we have pointed out (1) that some antibodies of the S system are strictly specific for a given factor (anti-U1 anti-S, anti-U′, anti-U″, etc.), while others have a double and even a triple specificity, as they react simultaneously with several factors of this system (anti-U1U′/ = anti-U2), anti-SU′(= anti-S2), anti-SU″, anti-SU′U1.
