Abstract

It is my belief, and I should like to state it clearly at the beginning of this talk, that the causes of all conflict are buried deep in the sub-soil of the individual mind. The root of all dissension is the struggle of the individual to discover, affirm and maintain his personal identity against all that threatens, or appears to threaten it.
