Abstract

Plan implementation is the third step in a process which starts with plan formulation and the translation of plans into programmes and projects. The implementation of plans for urban development involves legal, organizational, training and financial aspects. We intend to discuss in this chapter various aspects of the administrative structure for implementation; tools and techniques for implementation will be dealt with in the following chapter.
