Summary
Studies of gene-controlled multiple forms of enzymes are particularly important with regard to the problems of the physiological activity of the enzymes present. With this in mind, the research reported here was undertaken to study the different types of cattle red cell carbonic anhydrase.
The results show that the enzyme synthesis is probably controlled by three genes, whose quantitative effects are additive in a simple way.
