Abstract
Among the more intriguing issues regarding Chinese in the United States is the mental health status of this population. Owing to the increased influx of Chinese immigration, emerging public images of Chinese-American socio-economic success, and expanded interest in ethnic cultures in the United States, social scientists have made greater attempts to understand the psychological well-being of this group.
