Abstract
At the plenary session, Lausanne 1966, the Chairman said that the development of modern trade, the increasing number of international transactions, the formation of groups of nations (in Europe, America, Africa) will lead to forms of co-operation between lawyers in different countries, and asked the meeting: is it desirable that the advisory committee takes up the study of this point for a future conference of the IBA? The question was answered in the affirmative (Lausanne Conference Book p. 90, 94) and the committee has been invited to organize an open meeting on the following topics:
-
a)
the forms of co-operation between qualified local lawyers and foreign lawyers practising in the same country;
-
b)
the forms of co-operation between qualified lawyers in different countries.
