Blood Group Studies in the Domestic Mink

  • Chapter
Blood Groups of Animals

Abstract

Numerous blood group studies in many species of domestic animals have been made during the past twenty years, but reports of immunogenetic investigation in the domestic mink (Mustela vison) appeared only within the past two years (Rapacz and Shackelford 1962, 1963a, b, Saison 1962). A report presented here refers to blood group studies of the domestic mink and is a review of investigations carried out at the University of Wisconsin during the past two years.
