Abstract
Quite apart from the nationality principle discussed above which may enable a State to extend its jurisdiction over certain enterprises located abroad, there are various other procedures in certain jurisdictions whereby an undertaking situated abroad may be brought within domestic jurisdiction. As these various procedural methods occur in different national legal systems, it is proposed to examine them on a general basis giving such examples of their existence as lend clarity.
