Abstract

Tropical hardwoods are used extensively in the door industry; this use is expected to continue and maybe even increase. The choice of species, the different uses for the various hardwoods, and their success in use vary, however, from country to country. In the presentation which follows, experience in the use of tropical hardwoods in one Swedish door factory is given.
