Abstract
Studies on the aquatic macrofauna on Stratiotes plants, both living and artificial, provide information on the distribution patterns of caddis larvae in littoral vegetation. The life cycles of two related species demonstrate a temporal separation of the same larval sizes. The life history of a species of the family Polycentropodidae with its food and predators is elucidated.
