Abstract

The following is a suitable equipment for the work in this book:— drawing board, half imperial 23″ × 16″: tee square, 24″ blade: scale, 12″ long, bevelled edges—one graduated in inches and tenths, the other in inches and eighths: protractor—semi-circular type: set-squares, celluloid, 45° 6″ edge, 60° 10″ edge: 5″ compasses (needle-point) with lengthening bar: 4½″ dividers, with fine adjustment: pencil spring-bows: one or two French curves: pencils H, 2H, 3H: rubber: drawing pins, &c.
