Abstract

In the water-alternate-gas (WAG) process, gas and water are injected into an oil-bearing reservoir. The slugs are either injected one after the other, or a water-gas mixture is injected, with water (or gas) drive through the reservoir, or the two methods may be combined in different ways [122].
