Abstract
For improving the storage and/or fertilizer properties of urea, Richter et al. (1978) patented a technology for coating the urea prills with distillation residue of synthetic fatty acids manufactured by oxidation of paraffins and for amending the coated prills with biologically active compounds, including urease and nitrification inhibitors. But application of the technology for urease and nitrification inhibitors is not exemplified, in the patent description, by any nominalized urease or nitrification inhibitor.
