Heterogeneous Information Exchange and Organizational Hubs

Abstract

Construction activities have always been basic contributions to our societies. Their wide scope and diversity largely contribute to their heterogeneity, and it must be noticed that even a systemic analysis is not sufficient to handle their complexity with success. The objective of this paper is to present the general System SYDOX, designed to deal with complex data and information, and aimed at facilitating and enhancing communication between construction experts, designers, manufacturers and end-users.
