Abstract
The combination of groupware with high performance teams is a natural pairing since the fundamental goal of groupware is to support the work performed by groups and teams. Therefore the study of groups and how group members work together is central to groupware’s continuing development and understanding. Throughout this development process, field studies help identify significant characteristics.
