Abstract
Intelligent Distributed Learning Environments (IDLE) are applications in which hybrid communities with human and artificial actors evolve. These learning systems are therefore an interesting research field for the new interdisciplinary area of socionics. We present the design and features of Intelligent Distributed Learning Environments and the actors that may participate in hybrid learning communities. The learning environment is designed as a multi-agent system with co-operative intelligent agents and human learners that may take different roles in the learning process.
