  • Chapter
Book cover Computers and Education

Abstract

This paper intends to reflect upon the structural concepts of a new ethnic-cultural basis for society, and legitimize the potential of new communication and information technologies as efficient agents of democratization of spaces, which can allow knowledge experiences. We discuss the problem of Web accessibility and we present a digital library with the objective of creating strategies that increase the participation of all individuals with full rights, creating equality of opportunities and respect for differences in the emerging cyberspace.
