Abstract
The assessment of the autonomic nervous system is an important area of clinical cardio-neurophysiology. The individual tests are being used mainly to quantify the status of the sympathetic and parasympathetic balance in a variety of clinical conditions including a history of syncope, diabetes, cardiac failure, risk stratification after acute myocardial infarction, etc.
