Abstract
The water resources potential of the Brahmaputra basin is the highest in India, yet its utilization is the lowest. The basin is yet to have a major hydraulic structure for harnessing its tremendous water resource potential. Of all the several major dams which have been suggested for construction, none have been completed. This chapter reviews the various types of hydraulic structures that have been completed or are under construction.
