Abstract
Evidence from the use of sampling theory attests that some persons acquire enlarged realms of fibroplastic matrix around the intimai SMC’s as a general property throughout the whole aortic sample space. Furthermore, later intrusion by atheroma seems to favor sites with the most fibroplasia per SMC while tending to avoid sites with many SMC’s.
