Abstract
The two aspects of fibroplastic coronary intimai thickening, those linked to CT and FC, relate asymmetrically to the renovasculopathies, Ra and Fly. Ra associates chiefly with the CT-linked aspect and Hy with the FC-linked aspect of coronary fibroplasia. Since the FC-linked aspect is the more ominous type, it appears that Hy is the more ominous kind of microvasculopathy. The association of Hy with FC seems to happen exclusively in men, and is statistically sufficient to “explain” the maleness risk factor for coronary atheroma.
