Abstract
Fibroplasia like that in aorta and coronary arteries also occurs in the renal microvasculature. The macroscopic arteries without atheroma, the NoA arteries, have properties quantitatively similar to the microvasculature. The microvasculature never generates the lipid trapping conditions characteristic of macroscopic YesA arteries.
