Abstract

This chapter identifies the contribution co-operative agreements (CAs) could make to EU water policy and considers what role the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) could play in this. In particular it evaluates which impacts might be expected from a wider application of CAs to improve the economic efficiency and environmental effectiveness of EU water policy.
