Abstract

In this chapter I will describe how subjective well being can be enhanced by taking action that attains personal goals. The previous chapter described how goals are selected. This chapter focuses on how goals are attained. I will describe also strategies to enhance the likelihood that action will lead to goal attainment, i.e., factors that can facilitate implementation to increase the likelihood of goal attainment. Examples include goal commitment and goal feedback.
