Abstract
This chapter is a brief review of the basic notions and facts from linear algebra and analysis that we will use as tools in mathematical programrning. The reader is assumed to be already familiar with most of the material in this chapter. The proofs we sketch here (as well as the exercises) are mainly meant as rerninders.
