Abstract
W. Peeters convened this concluding Panel Discussion by re-introducing the Discussion Group Chairs, who each in turn summarised their group discussions. Key points which transcended all groups were pointed out by W. Peeters:

There is a need to improve space business

It is generally agreed that the International Space Station (ISS) is on the critical path to the future of human spaceflight

There is a need to start a new human space project which will be valuable and unique

There is a need to attract investors with new and good business plans

The synergy between humans and robots in space is increasing

Space tourism could be a catalyst for future developments.
