Abstract

If, when evaluating plastic anisotropy of polycrystalline sheet metal, we assume that in formula (6.20) the width w 0 and w refer to the sample situated in the sheet plane with its axis at the angle 6 to the rolling direction, and the thickness t 0 and t being measured in the direction perpendicular to the rolling sheet, then the coefficient r θ describes the normal plastic anisotropy in a sample oriented at the angle 6 to RD and strained to the elongation ε. The state r= 1 corresponds to the isotropy of the material, and the degree of anisotropy defines the deviation from this value, both in the range r < 1 and r > 1. On the other hand, the experimental scatter around the function r(ε) is asymmetric; the change 0 < r < 1 finds its equivalent in the change 1 < r < ∞.
