Abstract

This chapter presents a formalization of multiple abstraction. This formal specification is called Multi-AH-graph. It has been designed as a skeleton that supports mechanisms of multiple abstraction of world knowledge, in particular the scheme for automatic multiple abstraction introduced in chapter 5.
