Solar Cosmic Rays in the Interplanetary Space
Transport of energetic particles of galactic and solar origin in the interplanetary medium is an important topic of research in space physics over several decades. As well-known, the first observations of the interplanetary magnetic field (IMF) established the anisotropic nature of the interplanetary medium, and particles become excellent probes to study the structure of the fields and the particle interactions with interplanetary plasma irregularities.
