Abstract
This article contains summary of experience and lessons learned during a software porting project. The main goal of the project is to move a product from 16 bit Windows 95 platform to the 32 bit Windows NT. Problem resolution process is taken as the central for this project and it gives the context for all activities performed in the project. Some product and process measures are gathered from the project and analysed to show the main characteristics of the project in general and problem resolution process in particular.
