Abstract
In this chapter we review the mathematical modelling which has been performed on quantum wires and quantum devices related to the precise results presented in Chapter 3. Not all of the modelling results have been captured in the precise results to date, and thus remain as open problems. Several of these problems will be specifically spelled out below.
