Abstract
My personal activity in TMM started in 1949. In 1952–1955 I met the most distinguished representatives of Russian school of TMM. In 1964 I published my first book on TMM, and second one in 1984 (together with J. Oderfeld). Since 1964 I am engaged in IFToMM activity as a Chairman of Nominating Committee (1965–1969, 1955–1999), Secretary General (1976–1979, 1980–1983), President (1992–1995), Past-President (1996–1999), Chairman of T.C. for Robots and Manipulators (1982–1990), Co-chairman of CISM-IFToMM Programme Committee for Ro.Man.Sy Symposia (1976-). This short paper is dedicated to my Colleagues and Friend with whom I had a privilege and honour to work together for IFToMM. The second part of this paper describes IFToMM activity in Poland.
