Abstract
This paper traces the author’s personal history in regard to his participation in IFToMM. It presents details of his involvement in the formation of the Robot and Manipulator Symposium (Ro.Man.Sy) series, and the highlights of the four years he served as president of IFToMM. Mainly this paper attempts to record the atmosphere and the personalities that the author encountered during his 32 years of involvement with IFToMM.
